¿Qué haces en tu tiempo libre?

Being able to say what we like to do in Spanish, including talking about our interests and hobbies and to ask other people about them is a great way to have more interesting conversations and make new friends.

Below, we share a list of common activities people do in their free time. But first, how do we ask someone about their hobbies and interests?

One of the most common (and easiest) ways of answering this question involves using the verb “gustar” (to like).

*Just remember: after “gustar” we use an infinitive (verbs that end in -ar, -er, and -ir): nadar, pintar, cocinar… when we want to talk about an activity (or action) we like doing.
